Bumbu Rum is a fine artisan rum from Barbados and a unique cuvée. The masterpiece blend comes from eight different countries - mainly from the West Indies and South America, with the individual distillates aged for up to 15 years in Kentucky bourbon barrels. From the various spirits from Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guyana and Honduras, an inimitable balance is created without compromising the complexity of Bumbu Rum. Extra pure water combined with carefully selected sugar cane from the Caribbean and South America creates a wonderful lightness and smoothness. The minerals and other ingredients present in the sugar cane add significantly to the taste of the rum. For example, Barbados sugar cane offers a soft and sweet texture, as well as notes of vanilla and banana. With natural spices and no artificial colors or flavors, an excellent taste profile is created, satisfying with notes of vanilla, caramel, oak, cinnamon and toasted nuts.
